For most people, there is at the very least one person they'll always go to bat for. In your case, this person gets more. There isn't anything you wouldn't do for them. They're like family to you, only not. They're like a best friend, only more. They're your lover, your partner. It seems like you've been together forever, and you have no intentions of leaving their side. Why would you? Even if you don't believe in soul mates, you two work perfectly together, so effortlessly that it's not even a thought, through thick and thin. You're just...together.

Now, it's time for all of that to be put to the test. Whether it's being there for them, supporting them in a time of need, pulling them out of a darkness that threatening to envelop their psyche, or actually putting yourself in the line of danger - or, a task that's extremely less serious, such as just doing something you'd never do otherwise for them - you loyalty will be tested. And you will rise to the occasion without a second thought.
