1. ACCIDENTAL MARRIAGE.
Whether it's the classic 'waking up in Vegas' story or a magic ritual gone wrong, the characters are now bound for eternity. Better find a way to undo it -- it's not like they're going to fall in love or anything.

2. AND THEY WERE ROOMMATES.
For one reason or another, the characters are roommates, or housemates, or tentmates. Will they get along or argue over whose turn it is to do the dishes?

3. ARRANGED MARRIAGE / MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE.
Unlike the accidental marriage, this one was fully intentional. Whether it was arranged against their will for someone else's gain or a purposeful decision on their part, the characters are now in a totally platonic marriage. Unless...???

4. BODYSWAP.
The Freaky Friday. Due to forces unknown, the characters have swapped bodies. Can they work together to undo whatever magic got them here?

5. BOUND TOGETHER.
Characters are either physically bound together, such as by handcuffs, or magically bound together by some sort of soulbond. Either way, they won't be going anywhere without each other any time soon.

6. FAKE DATING / MARRIAGE.
The ultimate in fanfic tropes, the pretend relationship. You all know how this works -- just make sure to cut it off before anyone catches real feelings.

7. FANCY BALL.
Maybe characters are undercover for a heist or some other clandestine operation. Maybe they got dragged here by a friend. Maybe they're just attending for fun! No matter what, everyone is dressed to the nines.

8. HUDDLING FOR WARMTH / SNOWED IN.
Baby, it's cold outside! Better cuddle to stay warm.

9. INJURED.
One or both characters has been injured (seriously or not) and needs some TLC. Hope you have a first aid kit handy!

10. ONLY ONE BED.
Oh, no -- looks like we've only got one room left, and it's only got one bed. You guys are cool with sharing, right?

11. SOULMATES.
A trope that most commonly revolves around characters with soulmate marks that determine who their One True Love will be. Other options include psychic links, reincarnation, and more!

12. STRANDED.
Characters are stranded somewhere together -- in the wilderness, in the desert, on a remote planet. They'll have to depend on each other to get out of this, and maybe bond a little along the way.

13. STUCK IN AN ELEVATOR.
The elevator's stuck, and no one's coming. Looks like you've got a lot of time to kill. Maybe you could strike up a conversation?

14. UNDERCOVER.
The characters are on a secret mission and no one can know their identities. Hey, that fake mustache is falling off!
