Candles, for as long as they have been used, have had many connotations. Romantic dinners, that spooky house in the middle of the woods with only one window lit, that light at the end of the tunnel… Sadly, electricity and the invention of light bulbs have greatly decreased our dependency on them. What has been keeping such companies afloat in the modern century? The decorative and therapeutic side of them!
Strike a match, light the wick, and wait a moment for a scent to waft through the room.
Some scents are pungent like incense; others are sticky sweet, while some can fill a room with something light and fresh, or even make a space smell like a garden. It all depends upon the maker, what they use to make the scents, and your own personal preferences.
But wait~ these scents are not what they appear. Seems like whoever lights them gets affected a little more than usual…
