Maybe you're a peaceful being to the very core, or, at the very least, you try to stay calm and friendly. On the other hand, you could be so cold that you care for no one, and hurting someone would hardly get a rise from you. Either way, there's hardly anyone who'd peg you for going nuts because of harm to another person.
They'd all be wrong.
The person you care for most - the person you're in love with, even - is being threatened or has already been hurt, emotionally or physically. That's the end of the line. You've been pushed too far, and you won't stand idly by and let this stand. You're going to protect the one you love...
...or get revenge, if necessary.
