• GESTURES •



BLANKET — A drapes a blanket over B’s shoulders


MEAL — A places a warm-cooked meal in front of A


TAKEOUT — A arrives at B’s home, bearing takeout from B’s favourite place


HOODIE — A lends B a hoodie that may or may not be oversized for them


HOLD — noticing that B is nervous or scared, A offers out their hand for B to hold


LULLABY — A hums or sings a lullaby to B, to calm them down or provide them comfort


ADJUST — A fixes an article of B’s clothing, but does not stop there. they fix B’s hair, turn them around to check their outfit, etc, all to make sure that B looks their best


DANCE — A pulls B into a dance, but not on a dance floor ; in the midst of somewhere unconventional ( such as a kitchen or balcony ) , for a quiet, private dance, that may be more of gentle swaying than proper dancing


SONG — cradling B close, A tucks their head near B’s neck and begins to quietly sing or hum a tune. a song, just for B, quiet and special and close enough to be felt against B’s neck.


PREJUDICE — A, after touching & guiding B’s hand to assist them in doing something ( such as stepping up onto a higher platform or guiding them somewhere ) , releases B’s hand … but their own hand hesitates before retracting, A still able to feel the sensation of B’s hand against theirs.



• HUGS •



REFUSE — A, already embracing B, refuses to let go when B tries to move or move away


TACKLE — A tackles B in a hug, possibly knocking B to the ground in the process


TIGHT — A tightly hugs B in a strong embrace


SOFA — A sits on the sofa that B has already been sitting on, snuggling up next to B and wrapping their arms around them in a comfortable hug


BEHIND — A sneakily approaches B from behind and wraps their arms around B’s waist in a hug


CALMING — after finding B full of worries or fear, A wraps them in a tight hug, reassuring B that they are there and helping to ground B


MISS — before B can leave, perhaps on a long travel or dangerous journey, A rushes up behind them and hugs them, having one last big hug


SPIN — excited to see B, perhaps after a long period of time, A rushes into an embrace, going so far as to lift B off of the ground and spin them around


SIDE — A, standing next to B, takes another step to the side to close the distance, then wraps an arm around B in a side-hug


HAIR — while embracing B, A begins stroking and running their fingers through B’s hair as a calming gesture



• KISSES •



CHEEK — A kisses B’s cheek to wish them good luck before an event / a performance / etc


UP — A, shorter than B, stands up on their tippy toes to kiss B’s cheek


DOWN — A, taller than B, leans down to kiss the top of B’s head


EXCITEMENT — A spontaneously kisses B, full of excitement after an event or receiving news


SPINNING — A lifts B into a spin, kissing them gently and chastely as they set B back down onto solid ground


FOREHEAD — A gently kisses B’s forehead, their lips lingering against B’s skin in a tender moment


PEPPER — A peppers B’s face with butterfly kisses, across their cheeks and over their face, smiling all the while with intermittent laughs


SHOULDER — hugging B from behind, A kisses the back of B’s shoulder, lingering with their face pressed against B’s back


PALM — idly playing with B’s hand while B does another task ( writing, reading, etc ) , A then sneakily kisses B’s palm


ASK — in the midst of a tender moment, the two of them already close together and within distance to be kissed, A quietly asks if they may kiss B


REQUEST — A, near B, watches the person they love, full of adoration ( perhaps with a love they do not yet know is requited ) . quietly, perhaps nervous or timid, A asks if they may kiss B.


SECRET — A and B, as forbidden lovers, share their last few moments before being pulled back into their lives. A, catching B before they leave, gives them one last kiss as a goodbye, and a promise that they will meet again soon.


DISTRACT — A surprises B with a kiss, intending to distract them from their current task, perhaps work they have been doing overtime or a project they have been focusing on for a long time. A intends to create a distraction to tear B away from their work/project, or perhaps to bring some levity and lightness to interrupt B’s work


BALLROOM — in the middle of a dance, perhaps a large ballroom, A’s and B’s eyes meet in the midst of their partnered dance. A, perhaps without thinking, leans forward and kisses B


KNUCKLES — A, after guiding B’s hand ( such as to assist them in stepping up onto a higher platform, or to lead them somewhere ) , goes to release B’s hand … but not without pressing a chaste kiss to their knuckles, soft and lingering
